For the longest time, I thought there was no place for me in God’s Light. I was “queer” and would never fit into church or a spiritual life. Turns out, LGBTQ+ Christians aren’t that rare of unicorns. There are TONS of LGBTQ+ identified Christians, each who had to endure their own struggle with identity and coming to terms with their faith in what can be a very unwelcoming world.
This project is dedicated to confirming that LGBTQ+ Christians exist. We aren’t an anomaly and we belong to a variety of denominations and spiritual paths. Here, I showcase a whole lot of really incredible Christians who identify somewhere in the alphabet soup of identities. This includes transgender folks, no matter their sexuality, and also those fierce allies who always have our backs.
This blog will feature a bio, some testimony, and highlights from conversation that the featured individuals would like to share with others. I hope this site can create a safe, affirming and spiritually rich network where those who are young in faith or wise in years can connect.
